He would make substantially more as Marshall's head coach not to mention it would have been for a four or five year guarantee compared with a one or two year guarantee with a lower average salary in the league. Based on his high salary at Louisville, there's a decent chance he isn't making more as a first year NFL offensive line coach.

I would think an OL coach in the NFL is making at $750,000+ provided he is 'the guy' and not the assistant OL coach. Plus he has 0 recruiting responsibilities . HC at MU or OL coach for the Falcons? tough call
