There is an interesting similarity between these white nationalist terrorists and Islamic terrorists who are both radicalized in internet chat rooms.

There is also an interesting similarity in the kind of folks seeking out these outlets.

Almost uniformly they are unemployed, fatherless, not religious (even the Islamist guys are not really "practicing" Muslims), outcasts, etc...

That blame can go to everything from industrial policy to the collapsed mediating cultural institutions of the family and non-government fraternal organizations.

I don't own an AK. And I think you grossly underestimate the number of people who take their rights seriously enough to resist. Never mind that in a lot of places the police and courts would refuse to enforce a confiscation law. I know there is not a judge in my county that would, and this is a fairly urban/suburban county.
