Bowl motivation level for Group of 5 teams usually isn't a problem, but UCF will be appearing in a non-New Year's Six bowl for the first time since 2016. This looks like a mismatch, as UCF could put up a ton of points behind quarterback Dillon Gabriel, wide receiver Gabriel Davis and a bevy of ball carriers. Marshall's defense keeps things close for a half before the Knights pull away.

Prediction: UCF 41, Marshall 27

UCF achilles is run Defense. If we can control the clock and possession, it might be interesting. Whatever we do, don't get behind and expect IG to be a hero. Maybe a little beyond his capabilities.

Not exactly........ the UCF D allowed 3.46 yds/rush which is 22nd in the nation and finished 2nd in the nation in TFL. Total defense finished at 34th.........bottom line is the D is not top 5 like the offense but formidable none the less
