But there is a difference.

For the most part, Democrat dissenters are to the far left. They are the radicals of the party. Of course they are not going to unite behind a center left ticket but have no where to go.

For the most part, Republican dissenters are center right, or at least the American version of center right. They have been ran off by the radicals of the party that are now the majority. They have no where to go.

Weinstein is in reality describing independents. And the reality is that is who matters in elections.

The core Democratic party issue is Biden is a zombie. Nothing else can be done until that is solved. Who wants to vote for someone with dementia?
