Huff for gods sake, Fire someone!

Doc wouldn’t do it then we replaced him.. close that damn gap and quit acting like it isn’t an issue. Horrible game plan, horrible line play, horrible QB development, horrible play calling, horrible, horrible and horrible!

Defense sucked for 2 games but they apparently have a good enough coach to make some changes and played very well tonight. Like the 4-2 better

Offense is a Joke! Worst I’ve seen since Snyder days. No coaching.

One day we will be without these WVU pukes keeping our program from succeeding. Bill Legg has coached here almost since 2010 and what people see in this guy is beyond me, he has done nothing NOTHING to advance our program! FIRED!

Now, we have the great and powerful Trick Daddy!! Who was a nobody in the world of college Offensive Coordinators, besides some Netflix series about a Allstar team, and Huff was too lazy to go find one so now we have shown the world what a couch fire Trick Daddy is and how Lazy Huff is. FIRED!

Marshall will never win a conference championship with Trick Daddy at the wheel… crazy how every college football game you watch the offense just seems to play football, they get first downs, they can score, they run different plays, trick plays, misdirection plays, simple route plays, linemen block, runners run..

but then you watch marshalls O and all you see is poor planning, horrible play calling, bad coaching, laziness, dropped passes, no running ability, no blocking, never picking up the blitz, struggling to get first downs, no QB development and zero creativity.

Our Defense might not be the best but they don’t get much rest and get put in horrible situations. I’ll give them credit because they can’t do it all. Given up some big plays but they still fight pretty hard and seem to make adjustments best they can, we really need a big middle linebacker or two..

GO HERD…..

Yeah that’s the problem. It’s all a conspiracy from Morgantown to keep the herd down

guess I should’ve said “ keeping our program from succeeding” instead of “tryin to keep our program from succeeding”

Maybe the conspiracy wouldn’t be there…

No conspiracy theory. They just suck, which is why WVu doesn't want them and they're on our staff.

Which brings me to another point. I've been seeing more and more folks trying to suggest Marshall hire RichRod.

HELL NO. His offensive schemes only worked when he was able to use a handful of phenomenal athletes like Pat White and Steve Slaton. Those two were a wrecking crew, but outside of their playing years, his record is mediocre and why he keeps getting let go from jobs instead of leaving for better ones.

Trick may be in trouble. If we lose at AppSt, that could be the last chance to save his job.

You obviously didn’t watch Huff’s comments after the game. It is not the coaches’ fault. They can’t can’t catch the ball for the players when they put them in the perfect play (or some such BS).

He neglects to mention:

He picks the players
He trains the players
He chooses which players are on the field

If his players can’t catch or can’t tackle or can’t execute then that is 100% on him for picking, poorly training, or playing those players. He doesn’t seem to grasp that he can’t avoid responsibility.

I saw that - should be embarrassed about blaming his players vs. owning it himself. If offense is bad again, he will throw Trick under the bus to save his job.

He should've fallen on the sword and he shouldn't have said what he did say; however, Huff wasn't wrong. But those remarks belong in the breakdown in tape & the meetings.

And you're not wrong either. The roster is the huge issue.

EVERYONE needs to be called out and held accountable. Take responsibility for the poor play. Coaches and players.

what he said wasn't demeaning to the players. And it needed said.

He actually did take responsibility for the poor play. He said "It's my responsibility...." He also put the responsibility on the coaching staff too. We know you dont like Huff, but no reason to mischaracterize what he actually said.

Rich Rod has experience as a head coach, as well as connections when it would come to his staff. He’s done quite well at Jacksonville State. I’d take him in a heartbeat. I know people don’t like the way that he left WVU, but that has nothing to do with Marshall.

Can we stop with the Trick Daddy stuff and for that matter giving coaches and players nicknames before they do anything that matters.

It’s body language to me. Focus on him when he says things. When he talks about staff responsibility he has a stoic appearance. When he’s talking about players he is more animated/snarky. You can tell how he believes in each comment.

And it’s true, I’m not a fan of Huff, but this losing streak isn’t the reason. I don’t like Huff because he came here with one foot out the door at his intro conference and has run the program accordingly, which has led to this losing streak. After Notre Dame last year he was packing up. He never planned on being here this year.

His arrogance surpasses both his ability and results. You know he won’t drive, or even be driven, to Charleston for official Marshall business and requires that he is flown by helicopter? Do we really have the resources for that? I understand arrogance usually comes with every coach, but give me a break.

That helicopter stuff can’t be real.

Yea. After calling out Cole. He then started to backpeddle. He spent the entire first half of his press conference blaming players. He literally said that he doesn't know what calls he can make when the players can't catch the ball.

He's done this since the ECU choke job on 2021. He never makes the wrong call. It's always the player(s) that didn't execute it.

The more I watch his press conferences, the more I see/hear Snyder. The majority of us are not stupid and understand the simple fundamentals of football. Quit trying to explain everything.

He is not wrong. Our players do not execute well, because they have not been coached properly.

He also said “we have to do better, and it’s not just the players”

He also said, “it’s his responsibility” to see that happens….

So we're not only coaches but Psychologists now?

My guess is if he didn't use a helicopter there is a huge risk he could get stuck in traffic on the never ending I-64 construction and get caught in multiple accidents that appear to occur there on a regular basis that back up traffic for hours. Then we would have to read complaints about him spending all his time sitting in a car on the interstate or being in Charleston instead of being with the team.
