Forde and Yahoo: Pat Narduzzi to be named Pitt head coach on Tuesday

Pat Forde reporting that MSU coordinator Pat Narduzzi to be named Pitt coach tomorrow. Yahoo also reporting that Narduzzi emerged as the candidate today.

Hopefully should clear that dark cloud over us for tomorrow.

One of the local Pittsburg reporters that covers Pitt tweeted a dealnis in the works for Narduzzi.

One of the Pitt boards had people saying a deal could be done as soon as tomorrow.

Given what has happened at Pitt over the past several years, I believe the best option is to bring in someone that can build on what is in place. Narduzzi appears to be the best candidate for that. If Doc were to leave Marshall, I would prefer someone that runs similar offensive and defensive schemes so we didn't regress.
