Former Coaches, Players Talk About Walz

A lot of great things to be said about Tim Walz from his former coaching colleagues and high school players.

He will be in SoCal tomorrow and Wednesday for fundraisers, because ya' know, wealthy people here:

Good for him, he still lied about his military service.
He served honorably and didn't need to lie, but for some reason he felt the need to.

Tampon Tim may have been a decent football coach, but that has nothing to do with his crooked ways as a governor, his stolen valor, his wickedness toward our children and his lousy Democrat policies, you dumbass.

He served honorably
Let's compare. I used "allegedly" on things that a reasonable person could question the veracity of based on what is known:

Person A:
- served about 25 years
- served "honorably" according to your kind
- may have exaggerated specifics of his military service (most likely)
- may have used a rank he was given but then had taken away instead of his last rank
- allegedly retired to start a congressional campaign
- allegedly retired to avoid deployment

Person B:
- used five deferments to avoid his military obligation
- didn't serve at all
- lied (not exaggerated) about at least one of his deferments when a family friend, one who his father leased office space to for decades, claimed trump had a bone spur in his heel
- mocked POWs and said people who get caught in military service aren't his heroes
- verbally assaulted a gold star family and questioned their religion and motive
- told a gold star family, during a condolence call, that "he knew what he signed up for"
- repeatedly has downplayed injuries of military members: those attacked in Iraq who had possibly traumatic brain injuries were referred to as "having some headaches" by trump, and when questoned, he said he didn't consider the brain injuries "serious"
- allegedly forgot the service member's name who died during his condolence call to the military member's family
- allegedly called military members "losers" and "fools"
- allegedly refused to go to a customary military remembrance event due to the rain and cold
- allegedly told his staff to exclude physically disabled vets from military parades

If you have anywhere close to the severity of Person A's military relationship compared with Person B's, then you're an intellectually dishonest, hypocritical fool.

Times shot at while serving their country.

If you lie about carrying your weapon in war, you have committed stolen valor. you didn't mention that above.

Waltz seems to have a pattern of fabrication of his military time.

People in the military and veterans don't take too kindly to that, particularly the one about talking about when he was in war. He was not in the war. You don't just misspeak or forget that. Just don't fabricate what you do. Had a former member of high level unit say that to people one time. Doesn't matter if you were a clerk, cook, or kicking in doors somewhere. Don't fabricate what you do/did.

The governor of MN has a pattern of doing just that. Many times.

That was included in the "may have exaggerated specifics of his military service (most likely)" part. I thought that was quite clear.

Now, compare Person A to Person B regarding their military experiences and their interactions with the military.

Stolen Valor is worse than any of that.

Like I said he served honorably up until the point he lied about his service.

You're a moron. And a liar.

Oh, and stop responding to my posts, remember, moron?

The POW he mocked was John McCain a man not very popular with the men he served with.

Although not the best choice of words he is correct in saying to the Gold star family that their son knew what he signed up for. I would like a little more of the conversation not just some cherry picked sentence. Everyone who signs up for the military does so knowing they may die for their country.

Not going to address the allegedly.

what are you even arguing? Walz commited stolen valor.
