Galen Scott abruptly resigned as the co-defensive coordinator at Virginia Tech a couple of days ago. It came after an anonymous Twitter account made numerous tweets to Virginia Tech coaches and administrators that Scott was sleeping with the poster's wife on recruiting trips along the East Coast. This is some @Herd Fever type shit. I'm guessing his wife is the one who was getting tagged:

Wow, that’s crazy.

I guess with social media you don’t need to “go to the press” to air grievances. Which in many ways can be a good thing - obviously if those grievances are based on truth.

I'm thinking that what he accomplished going after the coach WAS the best way to get even with his wife. This is scorched earth revenge porn level tactics...only legal.
 
The coach was the one with the name recognition - so if he wanted more eyes to see what his wife had done you go after the coach.

I don’t have twitter but Yags said he “tagged” his wife’s account , so I assume people see her name in these tweets too?

welp, Scott resigned so i guess it worked. however, now the poster has to live with the fact he publicly made himself out to be a little bitch. is he related to countryroads?

He publicly humiliated himself. I can’t comprehend his strategy here. Yeah, the guy who was giving his wife what he couldn’t is now unemployed. Now his reputation as a little bitch is cemented. If that guy was my friend I would have strongly advised him against doing that, and lost all respect for him if he went through with it.

to me, the only way the strategy works is if he is done with his whore wife and leaving her and just hosed this coach as revenge. I think personally, I just leave my wife and say hell with it. But, I get it, if this dude is pissed and out for revenge...now if he does this publicly and stays with his whore wife for sake of the kids or whatever reason.....he just might be a bigger toolbag than greed, cuntry or dtard.

It may have been a heat of the moment thing....is he found out and went to Twitter. Hard to know.

I agree he’s not doing himself favors but if he wants shame thrown on his wife and doesn’t care about his own rep then going to Twitter is the way.

I was referring to fever's wife and her getting "tagged" in a different way. Fever has a history of going on Twitter rampages like this guy did, so I assumed it was his wife getting "tagged."

Some of you guys are telling me that if a guy was banging your wife, you wouldn't want vengeance on him? Bullshit. You would absolutely tell his wife and do whatever you could to make his life hell. You wouldn't just go after your wife.

The guy was tweeting that Galen was asking his wife to send pictures of her children and other weird shit. It wasn't just about banging the wife when he brings the children into the picture.

You're a bunch of liars if you guys wouldn't want to kick his ass, tell his wife, etc.

I just re read the tweets. Looks like he just started on 4/23 and then kept ramping up the heat over a four day period from phone calls, to pics to "sex at least five times". He specifically mentioned a date in May of 2017 for a sexual encounter....jesus, that means she just admitted to the five times, the coach has probably worn that pussy out over the past year...this putz has got his revenge on the coach, if he has any pride at all he'll leave the whore and move on.
 
...also - a cheating spouse would be devastating. I would be crushed and my own self worth would be hurt very much.

Many don’t think in an “alpha” way when your world comes crashing down.

Agree with the rest of your post.

People are thinking about the way they would be perceived with a response....while I’m sure his image is waaayy far behind vengeance on list of priorities.

I suspect vengeance on the wife may come in the form of an ugly alimony/custody fight.
 
A guy I work with had his wife leave him for a woman.she went lesbian.

He said what pissed him off most is he never got in on any of the action .
