At first glance though, this guy has been pretty well debunked by the scientific community. He is a physicist that was asked to comment on the subject at the conference and he spent a half day on Google...

"I am not really terribly interested in global warming. Like most physicists I don't think much about it. But in 2008 I was in a panel here about global warming and I had to learn something about it. And I spent a day or so - half a day maybe on Google, and I was horrified by what I learned. And I'm going to try to explain to you why that was the case."

Personally, I think that article does little to address the video I posted other than saying, yeah, but he's not a climate scientist.

The most interesting thing to me that jumped out on that video was the actual location of the temperature monitors. They seem ridiculously clustered and focused on the northern hemisphere. I also was interested in the question about what exactly the optimum temperature for the planet would be.
