Im looking forward to coming down to Huntington for the Herd opener and visiting all the stores to stock up on new gear. Were driving down Sunday morning but it just occurred to me that since its a Sunday game most of my favorite stores will be closed. Does anyone know if Glens will be open on that Sunday?

They are normally closed on Sundays according to Google.

I am not sure if they are making an exception because of gameday.

Here is their number if you want to call and find out

Phone:(800) 453-6671

Unless they have a religion based objection, any business involved in any way with MU that does not treat that Sunday as a de facto Saturday is not trying.

As an aside, remember that WV does not allow alcohol sales, take out or by the drink, until 1 PM on Sundays. Plan ahead if you are so inclined.

I hope they have improved their inventory. I was in town in June and the place looked like leftovers from a rummage sale...particularly when it came to Herd gear. For example....not a single, solitary youth sized Marshall baseball hat was in stock and the pickings for light-weight pullovers was zilch. Limited sizes on moist other Herd gear...if you were an XS or Small you had a chance. I spent 30-40 minutes in there and bought nothing because they had such limited selection.

They have tons of stuff now, for both men and women. Half the store is MU stuff it seems. Nice selection. They, the MU bookstore and Hometown are the best places for Herd gear.
The new place downtown - Old Main Emporium looks to have a bunch of unique lady Herd gear items and a few mens. Its a cool little shop.

Glenn's is loaded. You won't have an issue finding something. In fact I have spent over $200 in there in the past 2 weeks. Haha. Everytime I go in I buy something. And because I'm a Big Green member I saved 15%. It's worth it folks if you haven't joined and buy a lot of Herd gear. It pays off. Not counting the % off I got for eating out at certain places.

Good to hear that they have decent inventory now. I'll drop in and check out their stuff during the Herd/Perdue game weekend.

LOL! My family and I eat out a good bit during soccer season. We save a lot of cash with the BG card at local eateries.

They usually only get a major shipment once a year prior to football season. In June all they have left is last year's stuff for the most part.

Religion should not be anyone's excuse for not attending The Herd's opener...God moved the game to Sunday so he could watch it on his day off !!!
