Go play WVU

WVU plays in a P5 conference, which allows them to schedule other 'big boys' in home/home series, and/or neutral site games. Like it or not, WVU is a member of the Big 12, and can do things smaller schools cannot. As stated before, WVU has no interest in playing Marshall, although it's possible they would play Marshall on their terms, which means the Herd is willing to travel to Morgantown to be a punching bag, while picking up a nice paycheck prior to loading the bus ride home. They won't consider doing a home/home with Marshall. We've read the reasons why for years now. It is what it is. Marshall is doing pretty good with scheduling other P5 members with home/home series, as well as decent G5 members like Navy, Boise, etc. Enjoy it.

The scumbag leadership in Morgantown has made it clear they would rather circlejerk over their perceived greatness while playing Delaware State, Youngstown State, Liberty, Towson, et al, rather than play Marshall. They've chickenshitted out of their rivalries and now engage teams from a 1000 miles away simply for a paycheck. They are whores, and not even pretty whores. Why bother?

In each of the next seven seasons, WVU will play 11 P5 schools (9 conf/2 OOC) and one home game against a FCS or G5 school. I see a bunch of old rivalries in the list of out-of-conference P5 foes, and not a lot of "chickenshit":
2019: Missouri, NC State
2020: Florida State, Maryland
2021: Virginia Tech, Maryland
2022: Virginia Tech, Pitt
2023: Penn State, Pitt
2024: Penn State, Pitt
2025: TBA, Pitt

Skips PSU for 31 years, claims not chickenshits.

Look man, I get it. No one else wanted WVU, so you have to agree to be a speed bump for a galaxy far, far away to pay the bills. They gotta pay the bills. WVU and its idiot fans so alienated traditional rivals that it took coaches retiring and even dying to get two game deals. Awesomesauce.
