Good win for A.W. and EKU, beat a good Belmont squad 81-67 and a nice bounce back

Yeah, I like them both but John needs to pick it up a bit at UC! ! .500 and 40 point losses won't cut it there. I'm sure he's safe there but needs to improve in 2021-22. I could see A. W. being offered a P-5 job at season's end.

Houston has a good club but that was a conference game for UC and that’s the type of league beat down that programs have to avoid. Especially a traditional program like Cincinnati where the coach is under the spotlight.
The win over Belmont was EKU's 20th of the regular season. And then today, Morehead State beat Belmont to get their 20th win of the year also. We need to try and keep the games/series with both of these schools going, IMO. Two of the better programs in the OVC, along with Belmont, and CLOSE BY, 2 to 3 hours away at most which is good for fan bases of all three schools!
Belmont has one of their best players injured. That’s how they’ve dropped the last 2.
EKU came close to losing to one of the worst teams in the nation (Tennessee State) yesterday. I watched a little bit of that game and it’s amazing how they’ve won 20 games. I say that as a huge compliment to AW.
This is not in particular to EKU because I honestly have not watched them play. But, I think there is some fools gold in this season because there is not home court advantage this season. I think that has helped some teams wins some games that in some normal years they would not have. I also think it has exposed some teams.
