Yeah because he was an elite 11 qb with a cannon arm that hurt his shoulder then threw like a prepubescent girl. Personally I hope hes nothing like Korn but the circumstances are pretty similar thus a comparison can be made.

It can be made, but it shouldn’t. I am sure we did our homework (talked to doctors, other specialists) before signing him. There are many, MANY different types of shoulder injuries. Some way more severe (read Korn) than others (read Thompson).

No crap some shoulder injuries are more severe than others. A 6 month recovery from an AC sprain is a significant injury. My entire point is that we need to be cautious before we anoint him the next great Marshall qb

Damn you are dumb. The victory bowl is not a national championship game. It's a bowl game for those schools affiliated with the nccaa and did not qualify for NCAA or naia playoffs. Danny & I used to make fun of him (Thanksgiving dinner) before he finished 3-hours credit and got his MU degree. "Mike...you are dumb as Hell...you can't even graduate from Marshall......" If memory serves me--Mike received a phone call from Marshall....spoke fluid Italian and received 3-hours credit to earn his degree. Funny story...you might agree?

Never tried to be a "Big Shot"...Know everyone.....But, I am old enough to have cultivated many contacts along the way. Yes, I served as a JV volunteer for the CCS Knights for over 6-years, along with assisting the Varsity players and served 3-years at East Meck HS with the baseball squads. Over 60 % of coaches at Charlotte Christian are Volunteers.....many ex-NFL players serve as volunteers @ Christian....several volunteers serve the basketball teams....and other sports. Volunteers, just like at most WV high schools, bring our knowledge of coaching sports teams and "giving back to help mold young men & woman" to prepare them for life's challenges outside of sports.

More than score keeping, fan429..... [we don't keep a score book, per say.... we utilize Game Tracker to record & chart the entire game] .....my new job includes Twitter, live Streaming.......Game tracker....live game announcing......in fact, Friday night was Senior night and our basketball game was streamed live. We are modern @ CCS......doing the same stuff that Marshall is doing on Stadium Live or Facebook.

Guess you are not aware...this is 2018, at least in Charlotte it is! I know more than you give me credit for......

So, what is it about Alex Thomsen (sp?) that has people abuzz? I haven’t seen any video. Does he have touch on his throws? Can he throw the deep out pattern like Chad could? Does he run over people like Rockhead, or is he fast & shifty like Cato? How good is he at going through his check downs? Does he get happy feet or stand in there like Brady?
I like that he will be here for a solid week during spring ball. Can he participate, or can he only observe? So many ? Any answers out there?

Hes a big kid... 6'5, 230 so he isnt going to run away from people in the open field. But he is mobile when the pocket breaks down and he can get a tough couple yards when he needs to... Dont think Cato or Rockhead, more like a guy along the lines of a Roethlisberger-type... As for arm strength there wont be an issue there. Footwork looks good too. Pretty pollished for a big guy... Reading defenses is tough to call on film unless you know what the progressions are supposed to be and the routes the receiver is supposed to run... As best as i read the rules, I think he can come in and watch during the spring, but cant compete until fall.

Thomson has already had 2 injuries and has played just one season and 2 games. Does anyone think its a good idea to have Thomson running around out there? especially after coming off a shoulder injury? Thomson is a pocket QB like Litton so it would probably be best to run the offense with that in mind if Thomson is the QB. Don't try to force a square peg in a round hole.

I should have said they will all get the same shot and announce who is number one after the qb who played the best Not like when litton starts from day one with footnotes saying he will be the starter on day one. GK4HERD....I have no hatred for anyone. God teaches no one should hate what he created in his image. This crap by Ryan K...started years ago when MUATO was a student at Marshall. I reached out to him to determine if he would be interested in earning some money with a network marketing company. One of Marshall's coaches was interested....signed up his wife. For some reason Ryan K had an ax to bury with Fortune Hi-Tech Marketing (Lexington, Ky) and started spreading insults on Herd Nation that the company was represented by "scam artists." Not the case at all. Some very prominent folks were involved before the government shut them down for "what was reported as being a pyramid company." One of the founders was a honorable man...Paul Oberson, was a WKU graduate, baseball player and high school coach in Kentucky. Paul gave tons of money to people in need----and to various colleges and universities. I was working with Paul to make a large donation to help construct a baseball field for HERD baseball....when the government shut the company down. Paul once worked for Excel Communications. Sadly, Paul died in Oct. 2013 from cancer at age 53. I invite anyone to Google...Hi Tech Marketing and decide for yourself if it was a "scam company."

When Ryan K started his witch hunt and said some nasty things about my two daughters, I told him I would hunt him down and bust his head...no matter how much younger or bigger he was.
