So you had no expectations at all. But kept this all to your little self until mid- October. Got it.
Tell me, when, oh guru of football, should we mere fans have the right to expect to win a game? Next year? 2030? When?
I see that you bought a dictionary. Good job.
When stupid people, like yourself, dismissed in the past, or dismiss today, this solid and wonderful conference as “putrid” or “CDOA” or “the worst G5 conference” or some such, I, correctly called them out for their ignorance. I will continue to do so. No hypocrisy at all.
That does not mean that one cannot look at the individual teams. The SEC is the best conference. That doesn’t mean that a fan cannot criticize a team for losing to Vanderbilt or South Carolina. Same vis Purdue or Rutgers or Kansas or the other bottom teams in a conference. Different things.
I also told people like yourself who, in your ignorance of football, dismiss the conference in total, that since you consider ALL the teams in it as “putrid” and “not our peers” and “glorified D2 programs” and other nonsense, to find other things to do on Saturdays, since, obviously, nothing that happens here will suit. I owe you an apology. As you state that you have “no expectation” then watch away. Who wins or who loses doesn’t matter to you. Enjoy.
All I know is that MU has gone from the top of a solid and worthy conference to the bottom.
