Gunnar leaving?

If we had another scholarship QB on the roster, he'd be fourth string.

His girlfriend tried to argue with me about this early in the season. I wasn't being mean, just honest. She said he deserved a chance. I told her he had one.. in practice. He didn't do enough to even beat out a true freshman, so he obviously wasn't good enough to be playing. The few times he got in and threw a pass, he proved it.

Talked to one of the players at the game tonight about this he said he didn't know anything about 2 qb leaving for sure. He would know so maybe 1 will stay.

If the young man chooses to go wonder where? Wish him well and sad he could not play here.

I respectfully disagree with you gentlemen. How does a young man get all the reps during Cato's senior year, blow out reps of course and then get passed up by the newcomers. Here's my take. I believe Birdsong wasn't even hurt, we all know he stunk up the joint in Athens, Birdsong probably even knows that too. I believe promises were made and that's why we see the freshman playing and he did play well. I also believe going into WKU against a 6th year (QB), we should have played an experience (QB). But thats why I'm not in the business, I'm only a fan, a herd fan. That's just my take, now we don't have any back ups, we all know Gunnar and RedBird is leaving. So sad, but Go Herd!

because we had no other eligible scholarship qbs on the team, other than a true freshman we were trying to redshirt?

So, because WKU had a 6th year, MU should have played a guy who has 3 starts at FBS level, or a guy who has 0 starts at the FBS level? QBs DON'T play against one another. They aren't on the field at the same time, and they never will be. Litton is hands down, head and shoulder better than every other QB on the roster, or would have been o the roster this season.
