Herd at -3

Agree... MU and the over
I wouldn't touch this game for anything. We're back to being a Jekyll and Hyde team.

I'm not convinced this team doesn't do what it did last year after losing to ECU. Hang their heads and go into a funk. We went on a 3 game skid and nearly a 4th needing OT to beat ODU at home. I think the only thing that prevents us from a multi game skid is having G-W next week. Otherwise this stretch is pretty tough.

This is one of the games that will decide whether or not this season is a success... I expect our guys to come out fired up. They won't look past Troy after the App State final play highlight has been on every football show for 3 days.

Also, Ali may be back in the mix which would be a nice boost for the offense.

Beat Troy, beat Gardner Webb, and set up a huge game against Louisiana in Huntington on ESPN.

I don't know. Losing to Troy won't cause the season to come crashing down. LA lost to Rice, CCU isnt what they were last year. Ga Southern and Ga State are both very winnable. JMU and ODU, WE can win those games. That leaves Appy.
Get our mojo back against GW and continue to play well in conference, we could go 9-3. And yeah, not play well, would could finish much worse. Playing well at Troy and being in a position to win late in the game will bode well for down the road. jmo.

I believe it would. You lose to Troy and there's next to no shot in winning the division.

if we drop another game there's no way we win out after that. We've seen this movie time and time again over the last several seasons. We're front runners. Everything is great when we're winning, but as soon as the first L gets notched this team starts to come apart.

You still can't convince me that our OL coach quitting after game 2 is on the up and up. Also if he and Huff weren't seeing eye to eye and Huff knew months ago that he most likely would be gone before the season is over then Huff should have sent him packing then. His personnel decisions have been lacking.

We’ll never know what happened about the OL coach, just like we’ll never know what was up with Ali.
It’s all top secret stuff at MU. Lol!

Troy is in the west, so technically we could still win out and win the East. Louisiana looked horrible, CCU has been struggling to beat bad teams(I know, I know…we lost to an absolutely horrible team). Home games are very winnable. JMU is sneaky good. I think everyone is sleeping on them. Their game at App will let us know where they are at as far as FBS.

Yep. Give JMU 2 weeks to prepare and they will give App all they want……

I will take DA Herd, 24 to 21.

Everyone needs to realize that the SBC will be a backyard bawl every week. Troy has beaten the crap out of MU before and would love to do it again after losing App State last week. It's payback time but is the team willing to put forth the effort to kick some lower Alabama butts.

Both of their wins against the Herd have been by single digits…..
