With Laborn coming in, we are pretty set at RB for next season. I honestly had to look this guy up when I saw he was in the portal.
No need to now... Just spend a year, see where you rank on the pecking order and if it looks like you won't be playing much in year two, bounce with no penalty to another school with less depth at your position and try again.
The transfer portal blows for fans but its good for players.
This is what happens with the Transfer Portal. I've said it all along, the Transfer Portal is one of many things ruining College athletics.
He wasn't a starter, and sometimes didn't even see the field during a game. He was a position player.
Yeah, he was the starting SLB and finished seventh on the team in tackles. So yes, he was a starter.

College students are constantly told they do not know what the real working world is like, then get bitched at when they act as if they are in the real working world.
I was discussing this over the weekend. Matt Jones played behind Tua and Jalen hurts. He could have transferred but stuck it out, worked his butt off and prepared like a starter. Look how that ended up for him.
That was politics not talent. He made it and started the next 3 years btw on his own. He didn’t go the bitch made way of transferring

He started 4 of 13 games. I would say the ones he didn’t start was because we started in nickel.
With that said, he was okay, but undersized. Being 7th in tackles for a LB isn’t impressive.
