I read your post criticizing the generals. Being award of your infatuation with Trump, I have some questions:

Can you explain why seven retired four-start generals and admirals write an OpEd bashing Trump and warning of the dangers he brings to the country? Remember, these guys are retired. They have their pension. There is nothing in it for them by putting a target on their back.

Then, can you explain why there have been 15 other former high-ranking military personnel doing the same about Trump?

None of them have anything to gain from doing it. These are distinguished military men who have never spoke about or sided with partisan politics. These guys were all out of the military before it allegedly became "woke."

So why are did they all do this while it has never happened before?

I am critical of the number of 4 star generals we have. We have too many and too many of that number of not focusing on war fighting.. they are basically running an ineffective organization not focusing on its charter or mission. There is little to no accountability.

Like I stated WW2 we had less tha 10 4 stars at any given time. I believe the military waa nearly 10 times bigger in ww2 and we were fighting a world war.

That part has nothing to do with Trump. There have always been retitred Generals talk about candidates one way or the other.


My criticism of generals is more about DOD and it losing focus. No accountability after 20 years of war on terror and botched Afghanistan withdraw among other things.

We need war fighters. It needs fixed.

Some of this goes back to Obamas purge of officers. Those left went on to become what we have now. Guys who focused less on war fighting and more on ass kissing.

Some of it is just an out of control and outdated organization.

In other words we have too many hight level managers. Many of who are bad leaders.

I don't give a **** what they think of Trump. What I am saying has nothing to do with that. Many of them need some self-reflection of their own abilities.

Starting with the sec of defense. He is terrible.

In regard to Milley here is his issue. He seems to go along with the flow, ok. I get it. He knows some things are wrong and broken but, doesn't call that out. But, behind the seens I have heard some good things about him in the botched Afghanistan withdraw. He knew it was ****ed up but, called retired guys or guys who were out and was helping them in efforts to rescue. Private guys who were no longer in the military and he helped them all he could knowing our military was hamstrung. So, he has a good mind and heart, but went along with a lot of wrong things. Damn, he is a SF guy. He knows better on somethings.
