Just wondering, cuz this site doesn't have a smack forum, and the reason is apparently due to requiring too much oversight on the part of the moderators. I've counted at least a half dozen moderators on this site. Are there more?

How many moderators does it take to monitor an occasional post on the main board (Herd Nation - Herd Fans Only)? There's very little activity on that forum. A smack board wouldn't require much oversight, and would lead to more traffic on other forums.

Bring back TITM.

They won't let banker back on the site because Mark may not like it. He doesn't own the site anymore, but apparently still controls it.

Regarding posts on the board, the moderators try to act like a unified group. In reality, they frequently comment to others that they disagree with things other moderators have done. It forces all of the moderators to publicly agree with something they don't agree with or sit silently without weighing in on the issue (unless behind closed doors).

Throw in the knob-slobbing certain moderators provide to Marshall staff, and it causes quite a cluster-fvck for the betterment of the board.

Yes, this is an odd dynamic. Mark sold the board, but Chris still runs it just the way Mark would. Must have been part of the agreement when it was sold?

Chris is at liberty to run the forum however he chooses. I have not and do not intervene. After April 1st, I have even asked him to remove my Admin. privileges. It is his site and he shouldn't have to feel like I am looking over his shoulder.

Chris and I have known each other and he has been a moderator on the site for about as long as I can remember. It's natural that his style is similar to my own.

This site in one format or another has been around since 1999.
