Well, once again when you offer to help solve the so-called problem they scurry like the leaves in the wind.

As with the rest of the liberal problems, they don't want solutions. It's not about solving a problem. It's about finding pathetic ways of trying to pull the rug out from under people who went after what they wanted, got it and enjoy it.

Won't admit to their hoggish lifestyles that probably waste 10 times the resources (SamC) I do.

They've got wives, kids, houses, cars, trucks, boats. They eat a lot and are probably real fat. They're also real old, want to live a long time to keep using up the planet.

All the while, I'm living in a little mausoleum with no lights eating off the kiddie menu, satisfied if I kick the bucket tonight. My only hog is that truck, which I wouldn't have had to buy if they still made a car I could sit in. They're all knee killers. Still, my carbon footprint is probably 1/10 of these people wanting me to vote Democrat.

Years ago, two friends and I sold a beach property in Miami that we were making a decent profit on each month. Why did we do that? I pushed them to sell with me, perhaps a little prematurely, because I thought beach properties would start tumbling. What did I base that on? The constant flooding happening in Miami Beach and the annual receding sand line throughout the region. I would have loved for us to continue earning $500-$900 EACH per month after paying the property manager/cleaners without doing any work.

If you can't see how drought, extreme weather mixed with aging infrastructure, impact on agriculture, and increased energy prices will impact all of us, then you probably are a guy who recently believed the Earth to be only 6000 years old.

We've always had drought and we've always had extreme weather and flooding. There is no connection to anything humans are doing. But in your mind my father-in-law should be unemployed and unable to provide for his family because you blame those things on him digging a black rock out of the ground.

To paraphrase you, I don't see how anybody who is otherwise intelligent can believe something so stupid.
