The most recent example is Alexander Smirnov, whom the government said last week had invented the claim that Biden and his son Hunter took $5 million bribes. That allegation was promoted far and wide by Republicans, many of whom treated it as fact. (AFTER BEING TOLD HE WAS NOT A CREDIBLE SOURCE)
He was a credible informant for 10 plus years. Our FBI paid him large sums of money for his information. Now that he comes out against Biden he is lying?
This is exactly the right take. Guy was gold for the FBI for 14 years, they willingly paid him a ton of money, he even had clearance to gather info through illegal action.
So the FBI goes to his sources and says change your story or we’ll come after you. They change their story and the FBI uses those coerced statements to indict the guy.
Anyone who thinks this situation is a good thing truly hates justice.
