If he wasn’t fired for the lack of coaching ability, he needs to be fired for taking ZERO responsibility for the loss. Put it all on the boys….namely BB. That is just inexcusable!
He claimed that it was “always the plan” to go to Stone at that time. Well, where in all of these plans was it to win the game?! You just don’t take out a QB who had been driving the ball down the field at ease because you “have a plan”. That is so lame! If Spears and Smith don’t do something immediately, it sends the message that this is acceptable behavior. I can, maybe, understand not doing it on a short week with, technically, a conference championship still attainable, but if we lay an egg on Thursday night, it HAS to happen.
