Just bought a piece of equipment. Big sticker on it. Not for sale in California.

How are contractors supposed to get anything done? Or homeowners?

Sometimes you just have to get shit done. California needs a revolution.

They can't buy a gas pressure washer? A gas weed eater? Gas blower?

These people are imbeciles. But, we need to help them.

People in NORTH CAROLINA can have all those things. But they can't handle a few high winds. They're just plain redneck idiots.

One of the reasons that Honda left the lawn equipment business is because of California restrictions. Luckily, I just bought a new Honda mower right before their exit. I’ll be good for another 12-15 years.
Honda engines in small equipment are (were?) the best. I have a pressure washer that's around 15 years old that has been abused. It stopped running this past summer (wouldn't fire), and I needed one that day so went and bought a Craftsman. I also ordered a $25 kit for the Honda that included a carburetor, ignition coil, and something else. Put all that on it when we got it and it fired up first crank. It's head and shoulders better than the new Craftsman.

Craftsman used to be a quality product back in the days of Sears. Now, they have gone through so many ownerships that the brand is trash. Nor even sure if Stanley still owns them.

After I had one of my Honda mowers for about 12 years, I really wanted a new one. No particular reason because the old one ran fine, I just wanted new. After a few more years, I realized I was never going to wear that mower out so I gave it to my neighbor and bought a new one. The neighbor loves the mower I gave him and it is still purring away.

I just bought a Simpson. I believe they have some of their models with Honda. Mine has a CRX Engine. Made in Wisconsin. Pretty good.

Not sure what my next lawn care product will be. I have a few battery powered items-weed eaters, hedge trimmers and such, but I’m not crazy about them. Seems I’m always sitting on my a** wasting time waiting for a battery to recharge. Also, I don’t trust lithium batteries. Too many cases where they have burst into flame. I always keep my batteries in a cool dry place and never leave home for and extended period while they are in a charger.

They are own by Stanley Black and Decker. Stanley also owns Dewalt. Craftsman power tools are pretty good now as the little brother to Dewalt. Fine for most homeowners. I have seclveral of them and their brushless stuff is good. Not a real fan of their outdoor power equipment. I do like their 20v drills and 20v tools. Quality has really picked up.

I have 40volt Ryobi weed eater and handheld blower. Good for doing quick things. My big blower is. Stihl. Just ordered a Husqvarna gas weedeater.

I have noticed some of their new stuff at Lowe’s and Ace and it does look improved. I’m still mad at Craftsman for changing their battery design. I have several tools that use the battery that has a stalk sticking up on the edge. Craftsman has switched to those flat, deck of card look batteries. I guess when my old ones wear out, I’ll just have to toss them because I can’t find replacement batteries anywhere.

They can help themselves. The only thing I'd donate to help in Commiefornia is the animals displaced/injured by the fires.

Grew up mowing with a Craftsman riding mower and push mower. Both lasted 15-20 years with minimal upkeep.

Bought a Craftsman riding mower with my second home in the early 2000s, damn thing threw a rod after about 2.5 years.

Currently own a Cub Cadet that i have been very happy with. Going on about 6 years with it. awould recommend Stihl for small equipment. Have a leaf blower that I abuse with the amount I have to use it, and it is fantastic

All those big box stores sell the same crap. John Deere, Cub Cadet, etc. Same shit with different covers. You're paying for the name, just like rifle does with Gucci underwear. My fruit of the looms feel as good on my nut sack as rifle's Gucci feels on his little pecker.

I’ve never put it as “colorfully” as you just did, but it has always been my contention that many very wealthy people drain their worth by spending large amounts on everyday products. I go to Walmart and buy a pair of $2 socks that work fine while some super rich dude must have $100 socks made from the hair of Chinese lamas. With this concept spreading to all purchases, rich guy must earn 50 times my salary so he can buy something as simple as socks.

my next lawn care equipment will be a zero turn mower . . . maybe. i've been paying to have my lawn mowed over the past several years but thinking about buying a zero turn after you come up this spring and landscape everything to the point i don't have to weed eat.

If my yard were flatter, I’d get a half dozen of those robot mowers to mow grass, chase deer, and keep kids off the lawn.

Pretty soon, they won't be able to buy a gas car.

And this is a big part of californias agenda. Enact laws their so that the trend will follow as they are a large state and so manufacturing will trend to comply. Small states should have a pretty good case to bring that California laws are forcing them into things they don't want to use by limiting the market.

stanley black and decker owns cub cadet also. They bought it as part of the MTD group buyout. MTD now makes craftsman mowers. SBD owns a bunch of stuff.

Some of that stuff is dangerous. If I was cutting a big ass tree down I want a powerful ass chainsaw. Even though my yards is small we have a ton of trees around us. I get leaves waste deep. For that I bought a Stihl BR800x blower. **** you, California, I am not dicking around with it. Just ordered a Husqvarna weed eater to get somethings done. The 40V just won't cut it. I can throw the attachments on the gas weed eater and get more torque. If I just need to zip along the driveway or sidewalk the 40v is fine. Using the pole saw attachment and tiller attachment I would the gas engine. Plus, sometimes I want to hear the gas engine ripping through some stuff.

I’ve been looking at remote controlled slope mowers for the riverbank, which is about a 30 degree incline and a pain to weedeat. Problem is American, well made models, are about $8k. You can get Chinese ones for $2.2k. I’m just afraid it will be complete junk.

I’ve watched a lot of videos and could build my own for about $1,800 in materials, but not sure I’m ready to head down that path.

There are few things stupider than people like you who care more for animals than they do people. Justification for your idiocy does not exist.
I didn't really ask for your irrelevant opinion. Keep it to yourself.
