Wondering if anyone has seen any blueprints or structural renderings of the scoreboard upgrades ?
Not sure on renderings, but it was noted in the HD that construction will be going on until Aug 30 ( expected completion date).Wondering if anyone has seen any blueprints or structural renderings of the scoreboard upgrades ?
Assumed that was the case when I saw a drill rig show up lolThey had to completely redo the footers and supports due to the size. That’s what’s taking the time.
I believe we bump da Yoots outta 4th…..Saw an article written in 2022 and it shows this:
College football's largest videoboards
1. Oregon (Autzen Stadium), 186 feet x 66 feet: 12,276 square feet
2. Auburn (Jordan-Hare Stadium), 190 x 57: 10,830
3. Purdue (Ross-Ade Stadium), 150.4 x 56.9: 8,558
4. Utah (Rice-Eccles Stadium), 122 x 64: 7,808
5. Texas A&M (Kyle Field), 163 x 47: 7,661
6. Florida State (Doak Campbell Stadium), 120 x 63: 7,560
7. Texas (Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium), 134 x 55: 7,505
8. Clemson (Memorial Stadium), 125 x 56.8: 7,100
9. Miami, Fla. (Sun Life Stadium), 138.6 x 48.6: 6,736
10. Brigham Young (LaVell Edwards Stadium); 131 x 48: 6,288
Clemson football fans will geek out over Memorial Stadium’s new scoreboard. Here's why
Clemson football's new videoboard may not be the largest scoreboard in the country, but it does have the highest resolution.www.greenvilleonline.com
unless something changed Spears mentioned in mid-march were aiming for Clemsons size.I believe we bump da Yoots outta 4th…..
Always a good day when a drill rig shows up isn’t it?Assumed that was the case when I saw a drill rig show up lol

They're replacing the one on the SheweyNeed another way to see score and time somewhere.
It’s that hard to look to your left or right?Need another way to see score and time somewhere.
I believe it's just being removed. They're replacing the one on the Shewey
Yup, you're right. I misread what they said in the HD when noting the replacement of both boards with the new one.I believe it's just being removed.
What about seats in the end zone? Also, seats on the extreme south side of the east and west stands likely can’t see the scoreboard, either. It’s that hard to look to your left or right?
He did an interview with Paul Swann in mid-march where he went into detail of how we couldn't make the largest in the nation work, but we would fall in the 3-5 rank nationally when all is said and done.I’m sure it will be a fine video board.
That said, not sure where this 4th largest in the country is coming from?
Even that 119 x 45 ‘ wouldn’t be close to 4th. And apparently what we’re getting is smaller than that?
Again. Not a major concern. I just want to be able to read the stats when they show them now.
I haven't heard that song in a while.
