Serious question. I am convinced that probably at least 95% of Americans have decided and will not change no matter how many negative stories are written about the other guy. Curious is anyone on here is still thinking about Trump or Biden. Tell us why you are in such a small group.

I still don't know who I'm voting for. Never been a big fan of Trump or the blind support. Biden clearly has mental issues & the fact the left is pretending he doesn't just to get what they want is sad & telling on so many levels.

I want to see the two of them long-form debate per the rules Rogan has proposed. Trump says he'll do it, if he actually does is another. There's no way Biden accepts the offer.

The choice is easy. Biden and that side gives support to commies and lawlessness. Anybody that votes for him is supporting that. Therefore, I am voting for Trump and the American way of life. Never been an easier choice.

At this point, I'm hoping to be able to vote for Trump again in 2024.

Like the previous poster stated, the choice has never been clearer. The nation is at stake in this election. We'll either continue to be the world's premier nation, or we'll be heading toward something like Haiti.

Even that colored woman running for VP said yesterday that this was the Harris administration. Get your head out of the sand before it's too late.

I remember that post a couple months back about Biden signs. Well, there's one Biden sign in all of Calhoun County up here, and I be damned if it's not the young Science teacher that lives across the street from me. Big 36" x 24" Biden/Harris sign. It's right there for me to see when I'm out there on the porch. I already told my redneck buddy Chewbacca about it. He's planning to stop over and remove it one night this week.

I’m still undecided. I’m about 99.9% sure I can’t vote for Biden. 100% sure I don’t want to vote for Trump. But “can’t” & “not wanting to” are two different things. I’ve thought about writing in my grandpa, who’s been dead since 2003. At least I’ll know I voted for a better man.

But I’m also not naive to think much changes/gets done with either one in that position. Yeah, the 24hr news cycle will have you pissed about something that doesn’t really effect you, but the boat won’t rock much either way.

I think it will rock. This is not an argument over some money for national defense or what we spend on welfare or a budget item. This is truly about the direction of the country. There is one side that wants to go down a hard socialist backed path. They are not even hiding it anymore. They are in bed with radicals. When they try to shame you for supporting the flag , anthem, apple pie, and our way of life then they are dangerous. This is not about how much is going into a highway bill or how much Montana gets and Texas gets vs New York. This is about what made this country great. Look at the places they are in control of and what is happening.

Yes, this is not a policy election, it’s a referendum on the type of government we want going forward. Do we want to continue as a representative republic based on life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness or do we want to be part of the collective? Do you want to enjoy the fruits of your labor or do you just want to throw everything in a pot and let your overlords decide how it is allocated for the common good?

Ok, so Trump is in charge now and it’s happening. If Trump wins, how does he change it? If Biden wins, what changes?
If Biden wins you go to more of a central govt not based on individual liberty. It will embolden the likes of the radical movements and law enforcement down to the local level will be weakened. Business will be restricted with tight regulations and sanctions based on an overzelous climate change policy. That will inhibit growth in the private sector. the cities will become more of a killing field. Bigger picture we will go away from a representative Republic as the left wing is now that radical to more of a centrally controlled govt based on socialist and marxist principles. That was never typically biden but he is old and weak and really just the guy as the figurehead. The far left wing has control of this party.

If you like Nancy Pelosi, AOC, etc. then vote for Biden. If you like that left wing element that is what you are going to get. That is about as plain and simple as I can get. It will be about "what is good for the masses, we know better than you, we will distribute, control from DC, and we are in charge of your destiny, your kids, your school, your daily life, the way you think, the way your kids think, and so on"

I am being serious, this is no joke. They are moving closer to a socialist United States. The country you and I know or grew up with will change.

Easy choice. Biden.

Trump followers are the biggest group of sheep to ever exist, and the cult-like worship of the man could probably qualify as a religion. The greatest threat to democracy is Trump and his supporters.

Give me the far left over the far right, their QAnon lunacy, and the white supremacists.

I agree it's a referendum....a referendum on Trump..

So you're telling me that somebody educated and an expert in science is voting one way, and you're going the opposite? Imagine that, deplorable.

Does Biden have mental issues? I have no idea. Does Humpty? It appears so.

The difference? The left has control of Biden. He isn't a one-man wrecking crew. He has people far brighter helping him, and most important, he listens to them.

On the other hand, Humpty refuses to listen to anybody, even those far brighter and educated on topics. Scientists, even ones in his own administration? Fvck them. Military experts? Fvck them. His chief of staff, campaign managers, etc.? Fvck them. Remember him repeatedly promising to hire only the best and the brightest? What happened to that when all of them were indicted, fired, or resigned after Humpty refused to listen to them on their subjects of expertise?

Nobody can corral Humpty. His own handlers have given up. They tried taking away his Twitter, they had emergency meetings to handle what to do if the video of him using the N-word gets released, they yell at U.S. senators for "allowing" Humpty to do interviews. It's chaos.

science boy doesn't even know how to cut grass or trim his overgrown landscaping. saw him out there one early evening trying to start a small fire in his little kmart firepit. couldn't do it. I laughed while I watched my wife walk over there and get it going for him. Now this Biden sign. Even the colored family next door are voting for Trump, but not science dork.

So, other than he's not Trump, it seems there's zero expectations from him. Good job, you're

I'm being 100% honest, all valid points. He's like bizarro Jack Welch. I changed my political registration to Independent during this administration. Now, there are a lot of policy things they've done I've actually thought were smart. However, he's a sociopath.
When it comes to Biden, what bothers is me the left refuses to acknowledge what is blatantly clear about the man. Go back & watch him debate Paul Ryan. This wasn't that long ago. Then think about the fact, because of covid he was kept in his home, off the campaign trail. If you listen to his (heavily edited) podcast & him actually speak, you'd swear it couldn't be the same person. The limited events he does attend are laughably spaced out & he doesn't take questions. Listen to any POTUS candidate talk about the campaign trail & it's a grind times five. The "convention" was cake. So he's skated by all that & he still seems like a lethargic, confused 77 year old. He's a walking placeholder who the left is morbidly backing because they're House of Carding it behind the scenes. That's what bothers me. It's dirty & scandalous. And it's party wide. The top figures in the democrat party right now are worse than Trump. They are. I probably agree now more with the things democrats say they endorse but their leaders are trash.
So my choice is a sociopath or a 77 year old man who clearly is in some stage of serious cognitive decline that no one on the left seems to recognize. Only, they are because Kamala is angling to usurp him already. Feels gross & actually swampy. Truly feels gross.

My post was in response to RockTheDog who said the election would be referendum on "the type of govt we want". I countered that I thought it would be a referendum on Trump.

Shit, sorry about that. Was on my phone & didn't realize that got left in there (I was gonna respond separately.) But since we're here, what I was gonna say was there seems to be no expectations of Biden other than to get elected & die in his first term.

That's false. He has taken questions. There are a lot of things to question about Biden, so there's no need to make bogus claims.

You can't say that with a straight face.
I'm not intentionally making bogus claims. The clips I've seen, he's not doing legit pressers. Their campaign was catching flack for not answering questions. And if they are, the mental lapses he's having are getting far more play.

And I 100% mean it. Pelosi, Nadler, Schiff, Schumer - trash. The horseshit during the SCOTUS hearings cemented it. By far wasn't the only thing, but it confirmed it.

I'd like to see Tulsi & Yang make another run in 4 years if Trump wins. There are legit younger candidates the left can run & should.

Figured that was the case...done it more than once myself.

The hell he has. Biden takes questions which were given to his staff and screened beforehand. He has a script for which press members to specifically call upon. His handlers try their best to help him pass by giving him the questions and his answers in advance. You're a fuhkin' liar.

I'm just so disenchanted with my party right now. It's hard for me to accept how Hillary & Biden have been shoved down my throat in the last two cycles. It's such an obvious "good ol' boys club". Then, it was made clear that only minority females were in the running for VP (not the best candidate), and you trot out a barely warm body at the top of the ticket...it's just mind numbing. Then you add in the fact that the state of California is viewed as leading the party in a progressive manner, which I'm fine with when it comes to a lot of social issues, but there is ZERO political talent coming from that gigantic ass state. There are no JFKs coming from California. There are no FDRs. No Bill Clintons. Hell, we can't even get a Bernie Sanders from California. A lot of liberals think Kamala-toe Harris is going to destroy Mike Pence in the debates, when she couldn't even fend off Tulsi Gabbard. Really? When the fvck is California going to actually lead the party to something besides slaughters on election night? I'm not disenchanted from a policy standpoint, even though I don't agree with it all. I'm mostly disenchanted with my party because they're fvcking losers.
