Is this voter fraud DHERD?

If you're trying to sway the presidential election by cheating, why would you do it in California where they haven't voted republican in a presidential election since 1988? That's seven straight elections they've voted democrat. Seems to me that would be like giving Mike Tyson steroids so he'd have an advantage over Steve Urkel in a fight.

I don't usually agree with extra but he's correct. It is not voter fraud. But that doesn't mean it couldn't be misused. The voter rolls need to be purged all over the country. Hell I bet I'm on the voting rolls in 3 states.

Me too

I heard Al gore say we need to eliminate the electorial college. He lost but won the popular vote by 500000 votes. Hillary won the popular vote by 3 million. Had 2 republicans lost but won the popular vote im sure the right would say WE NEED TO GET RID OF THE ELECTORIAL COLLEGE. But as of today america doesnt want people from california and new york picking our president. I agree with that.

So 2 of the 5 most influential states in America(Virginia, Texas, and Florida the other 3) shouldn't be influential?

My opinion is this, you win the state, you get all the electoral votes.

Yeh I'm sure

If it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck well...._ I am glad to hear you are okay with this Random. If this crap kept happening and the GOP was winning certain states then you would be the first one in line to bring it up.By the way I don't trust a state filled with liberals that wants to succeed from the USA to deal with this if indeed cheating is occurring. Voter registration fraud is considered to be a type of vote fraud. It is the act of registering to vote, or registering someone else to vote, in order to garnish more votes for a specific candidate. These votes are considered fraudulent rather than votes that were legally cast..Congress intended for “Motor Voter” to both protect the integrity of the electoral process and to ensure officials could maintain “accurate and clean” registration rolls. Neither goal has been met.(like Cali) Over and over we see this happen and almost always in areas where demorats win. Looked at technically, registration fraud is not the same as vote fraud. However, as a practical matter, we should ask why anyone would go to the trouble of committing registration fraud if they did not intend to follow through and commit vote fraud.

Care to provide any kind of evidence to back that assertion up?

I'm going to assume that you don't, since you're the conservative version of dherd.

yes I do have a problem with any state liberal or conservative trying to do that.

Then whine about Texas. They have several counties that have more people registered to vote than number of residents. Is that the reason they've voted for a republican president since 1976?

Yeh I'm sure

You ever move and not alert the county clerk?

They should fix that.

You do realize that counties are responsible to purge rolls? The 1993 National Voter Registration Act mandates that state and local elections officers keep voter registration lists accurate by removing the names of people who die, move or fail in successive elections to vote. Voters who’ve been convicted of a felony, ruled mentally incompetent or found to be non citizens also can be removed. The U.S. Election Assistance Commission reported that 15 million names were scrubbed from the lists nationally in 2014.

stuff it random you are worse than DHERD and EG combined

Goodness. It's not like anyone is condoning voter fraud. My point has nothing to do with some far fetched voter conspiracy. My point is that any conspiracy to cheat in California to win the election for the democrats is stupid. Hillary won the state by over 4 million votes. Even if you cheated to the tune of a million votes through registration fraud (highly unlikely), you still win the state in a landslide. The electoral votes are winner take all. Win by one or win by four million you still get the same amount of electoral votes. That's why calling attention to potential voter fraud by the democrats in CA is silly. It would be the dumbest cheating ever.

Texas wants to succeed from the Union also

You do realize that if the voter does not notify the clerk and does not fill out a USPS change of address form, there is no legal provision to remove the voter from the rolls until they fail to vote in two consecutive Federal general elections or appear on a compared list of different voter rolls, right? You can look this up if you don't believe me. Given the variety of election days and years in different states it is very possible for every letter of the law to be followed yet because of laziness on the part of the voter have persons appear on different voter rolls in different locations. So let me ask you again, have you ever moved an failed to notify the clerk? And let also ask, have you then voted in an election? Because if you did you may be guilty of....voter fraud!

Okay the answer is no, that does not apply to me. This is from the Dept of Justice site. Each State motor vehicle driver’s license application (including any renewal application) submitted to a State motor vehicle authority must serve as a simultaneous voter registration application unless the applicant fails to sign the voter registration application. This application for voter registration must be considered as updating any previous voter registration by the applicant.

And a lot of people don't change DL's for a while. And of course you can decline to register at the BMV (or whatever your state calls it). Anyway, there is always going to be overlap on the voter rolls. That's just a fact in such a large nation, with large concentrations of population, that increasingly move around. Which is why your article is "fake news" (or as I prefer, propaganda). California? Shit, check Colorado, that's where a bunch of them move.
