There is NOTHING that either of us know about that would prevent obama from getting a security clearance. You ARE making stuff up. Period.
He has publicly admitted to taking drugs? yes or no? I believe he did. That could exclude him from getting one. If he were trying to get one in the military he would not only not get one he would be removed. That's one thing right there. Probably not the biggest.

I've had to go through the clearance process twice. Obama's admitted cocaine use is pretty damning. Along with some of his WU afiliations would make it awfully tough to get a high level clearance. Although, under Obama the govt semed to be giving lower level clearances out like a liberal tweets out death threats.
Hahaha, how do you know? There are different levels of clearance and yes smoking dope is immediate removal from the military. I know of some civilian people that have answered yes to smoking pot during their questioning and got in(don't know why in the hell they did but they did). Never in the military. That will get you gone ever for admitting you did it when you were in school.
Writing bad checks on certain security clearances will certainly get you looked at and probably not get one at the high levels. They also look at traffic tickets, moving violations, the reason you got divorced, why you don't have custody of your kids, among other things. Oh, and they look at who your friends are. They are going to go question them and talk to them. Sometimes the questions are very uncomfortable. They also look at who your mom and dad are and are they foreign nationals. Going to go talk to your neighbors and such.
Hanging out with Bill Ayers and those clowns is probably going to raise and red flag or two for me and you.
