I have a source tonight that tells me Bob Pruett will be named interim HC for one year. After that Mike Bartrum will then be hired as head coach.

0% chance Bob Pruett comes back. He has no interest.I have a source tonight that tells me Bob Pruett will be named interim HC for one year. After that Mike Bartrum will then be hired as head coach.
Totally agree.Mike Bartrum is an all around good guy. That being said this to me feels maybe a worse Idea than hiring Snyder when we did. Hopefully this isn't accurate. We need to move away from former players and find a new and younger coach to bring some excitement to the program.
The source was serious. Now if they are wrong then I disavow any knowledge. I have another biggie but not sure the board could handle any more info.

BP does have interest bc he needs 1 more year to get into the hall of fame.0% chance Bob Pruett comes back. He has no interest.
No point in holding back now! Just let it rip.The source was serious. Now if they are wrong then I disavow any knowledge. I have another biggie but not sure the board could handle any more info.
Whether your source turns out to be right or wrong, I appreciate you bringing the info here. Makes for good discussion and is literally why these boards exist. The source was serious. Then Gilbert needs to resign as well as it shows the inmates are running the asylumIf it is true and I'm skeptical, my possible prediction in the earlier Doc is out thread wasn't too far off. I still don't see how Hamrick doesn't resign though if it is true. This hire would be nowhere near his making and would make him look like a figurehead.
Spill it! You can't dangle that out there like that man. C'mon! The source was serious. Now if they are wrong then I disavow any knowledge. I have another biggie but not sure the board could handle any more info.
Experience as a an actual HC and time on the college level. Just because he's an assistant coach in the NFL doesn't mean squat. College football is all about networking and having recruiting relationships. Mike Bartrum isn't a big enough name to just walk off the street in any HS and land recruits. My God the man is an assistant coach in the NFL what more do you want?

Baseball stadium would be my first guess and my next guess would be a new practice facility for Bball.I checked back with source and it’s a possibility but not a probability. It involves a major campus project and those involved. That’s all I can say without going completely off the coil.
I’m speaking of the second part not the MB part.

Based off of previous rumors of Dan’s push for the BB program, his past comments of his displeasure of not having a practice facility, and his hopes for the Cam regarding seating, concourse, and overall atmosphere, I’m betting it’s upgrades to the Cam.I checked back with source and it’s a possibility but not a probability. Lol. Yea. I'm sure he's gonna land great recruiting classes with rings from a decade or two ago.no but the Championship Rings generally turn kids heads. But I m sure you know better

It's rare that a high school coach would tell his student-athletes where to go for college. You think a 17 year old kid and his parents would allow the high school coach to select where the kid goes?
Recruiting is important, and it doesn't hurt to have a relationship with high school coaches, but if a kid is offered, other schools are going to see/evaluate him, and they all have access to the kid directly while recruiting him.
Sadly I have seen cases where the coaches either steer the player away from a certain school, not show the offers to the kid, or refuse entry to a coach.
I agree with you 100%.At what level of college football do the college coaches give high school coaches offers for kids instead of directly giving the kid the offer?
And if a high school coach "refuses entry to a coach," that high school coach would lose his job very fast unless it's over a college staff having taken away an offer at the last minute from a kid in the past. Really, can you imagine a high school principal, athletic director, parents of kids, etc. being cool with a high school coach hiding a full scholarship college offer from a kid? That not only calls for immediate termination, but it also could easily result in civil litigation against the high school coach and school district . . . but again, college coaches aren't offering kids through their high school coach, but rather, are offering the kid directly, because they use it to build the relationship.
I agree with you 100%.
One of these instances happened to a friend of mine in high school. This was 20 years ago. The coach wasn't telling him about the interest he was getting from schools. The schools would call to inquire about him and the coach would never tell him about it. I want to say one day he found a packet in the coaches desk from a school with his name on it.
He and the coach at the time butted heads a lot and the coach was holding a grudge. The sad part is was that he was from a simple family and they didn't know they had any recourse. Plus the coach was a beloved member of the community and they wouldn't believe him.
In following this site and others over the years I've read where coaches steer players away from certain teams or coaches for various reasons.
As you said it should never happen, but it does and a lot of the times the parent's either don't know how to fight it or they just don't.
It involves a major campus project and those involved.
Man, I hope so. I still have six good years left, and I could definitely be the GM of that facility. My guess is Bobby P demanded an on campus production facility for Chapman Printing.
