On Nov. 25, the day before the Western Kentucky game, Holliday contacted iconic former MU coach Bobby Pruett and scheduled a meeting for the following Monday afternoon. He wanted Pruett's viewpoint and advice. It wasn't the first time Holliday had sought Pruett's counsel, nor will it be the last.
They met on that Monday and Pruett endorsed Holliday's plan publicly later that evening during his weekly radio show with iconic former WVU coach Don Nehlen.
Is this accurate ? Because I was understanding that Pruett was undermining Doc & trying to get him fired by going to the governor to be as well? Did Doc initiate this meeting w/ Pruett & talk & then Pruett agree to endorse Doc on the radio which I know he did do. What's the part of the story being left out here if any ?
