Not to be an asshole, but thanks for posting that. I hadn't seen a similar photo since Mrs. Steel taught us all that 52 years ago in her 1st grade class.
But we have more Africans in Atlanta
Not sure why you're posting this. Sam is comparing a single state to the rest of its country, while you're comparing a country to an entire continent. Is it just to show the sheer, overall size of Africa?
Maybe to show there is actually a Niger in North Dakota

I have a world map up in my classroom. Every year I find a group of kids huddled around it giggling while pointing to a country in the middle of Africa. *Sigh*
I don't know what the deal with Africa is, but there are a lot of people blessing the rains there.

I'm also doing this to put ANWR in perspective (specifically the area designated 1002 as it will be ground zero.) It's by no means a small area but there seems to be this misconception that ANWR covers the entire state.

ANWR is about the size of a sheet of paper on a tennis court in relation to the entire state of Alaska.
Sucks for liberals. Nothing can be done about it now. Drilling there got approved within the tax bill last year.
We have hundreds of millions of gallons of oil already discovered. Oil is at mid 40s where hardly anyone is making money. But hey sure drill away.
And who wants to start new wells when supply is high and cost are low. Do you know how many American drillers are making money at $45 oil??
National average was $1.85 when the last administration took office & soared close $4 a couple of times. From 2011 to 2015 it was over $3.
