Kim Davis protects sanctity of marriage...

Yes, being a good person won't help you without salvation.

awesome god you have there. you can live your life as the best human on earth, but if you die instantly in a freak accident before you accept god you're going to hell, but if you're a piece of shit, in the same freak accident and live 48 hours or so after the accident and accept god you're going to heaven.

so, basically someone can be 90% a good guy his whole life, but not come to terms with the bible and have less of a chance of heaven as someone who is a 100% piece of shit his entire life, but finds the gospel and god in the last month of his life?

Correct. Except not coming to terms with the Bible leaves you NO chance of heaven.

I make a distinction between WV democrats and the ones we see nationally. Most people nationally lean democrat when they have a liberal ideology. WV democrats on the other hand are union democrats. This has it roots back to the labor disputes in the coal fields. I consider WV a fairly conservative state that votes democrat because of their union roots. But they are not beyond jumping sides on occasion when it comes to a single issue...namely guns.

It's even more absurd than that. Say a child rapist/murderer lives in a remote area where christianity isn't widely known. The raped and murdered children who haven't accepted Jesus as their personal lord and savior are burning in hell, and all it takes for the rapist/murderer to spend an eternity in paradise is to ask forgiveness on his deathbed.

Just think about how perverted that is. Then think about how illogical you'd have to be to actually believe it.

All human beings who are not mature enough to understand right and wrong for themselves, are not considered guilty of anything, and automatically are reserved for heaven. Imagine the lack of intellect it requires to not understand that.

Where is that in the bible? Is there a specific age? Or does god just make a judgement call? I imagine this also applies to the mentally retarded? What if someone is mildly mentally retarded and murders someone in the name of Allah?

Rifle, thanks for the timeline as it strongly supports her position. She had a messed up life, found God and a moral center. Good for her.

The bible made clear that government is given that authority and power through god. She is going against that.

James 4:17King James Version (KJV)

17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

That scripture answers every question you asked.

I am glad we have changed the course of history, all religious beliefs, all societal beliefs, and bent the constitutional powers of the branches of government because gay has become hip in the last 5-10 years.

Gays were never denied any constitutional right as people with skin color were. No different seats, water fountains, restrooms, schools, nor a denial of a right to vote.

This is a modern course of events based on emotion.

What would God think of two women raising a child or two men? Take God out of it. And, I know the libs say well they love the children. Well, that is not what is best for the children.

What this boils down to is a modern way of thinking that the world owes you something and everyone can be equal in every aspect of life.

It is the same attitude we see in young people that go into the work force. They want to be the boss from day one. They want to make as much money as their parents on day one. It is the teachers' fault I made a bad grade and their parents blame the school.

No different. Frankly, gays want to force you to like them. They don't want to be left alone. You must like them!
That is what this is all about for the most part.

Did he take away any of their rights?

I don't normally get into quoting bible versus, but there appears to be some passages about the subject. Not often, but it seems to be pretty clear under the old law and new law.

Old Testament
  • Leviticus 20:13, "If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltness is upon them."
New Testament
  • 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, "Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God."
  • Romans 1:26-28, "For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper."

Civil rights, herdman, I'm talking about civil rights. You've never seen me defending gay marriage as something acceptable to God or the teachings of the Bible.

I would think stoning someone to death for their choice of sexual behavior would be a violation of a basic civil right.

I have never had someone clearly explain to me how marrying someone of the same sexual orientation is a basic civil right. If we are not going to separate the sexes then why do we have all female or male schools? Bathrooms? Dorms? Clubs and so on. Following the logic of the gay agenda, isn't that the same as separating blacks and whites?

Hey, I am all ears and willing to listen. I don't think life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness is an invitation to do what you want and how you want or an invitation to make everything the wild, wild , west.

Correct me if I am wrong, there are certain privileges that come with being married that unmarried people do not get.

Gods laws are not a democracy. If you wanted to escape the law, you don't get to live under the umbrella of the nation of Israel.

Herdman, you are f*cking ridiculous. It's funny seeing you go all over the place to distract from the original point. It really is.

Herdman, I bet you were a big time reviler. Thank goodness Kim Davis didn't have to sign your Marriage License.
