A local (Letcher County) pastor released a video yesterday saying that the rumors concerning both the wife and daughter were not true and suggested it was a mental health/illness episode. Fwiw, I have heard other rumblings about the sheriff having some mental health issues over the past couple of days. So who actually knows what actually happened. In any event, it is terrible.
