both have been rude and have brought down the site in some ways. And both have said things that are just totally wrong and offesive. kick em both for a month then when they come back if it starts back up, kick em forever. IMHO

You also believe you are somehow better than him but what you can't seem to accept is that smarter doesn't equal better. If anything it makes it worse because you should know when to stop. Your bigger issue, though, rifle is that you lack some little something in your brain that either a.) allows you to admit you were wrong or b.) allows you to admit defeat. As a result, it is not inherently inside you to just stop and let anything go, to call a truce or accept any type of resolution that doesn't make you triumphant. You are compelled to win and want to force the entire world to admit that you have. If that requires stockpiling a decade worth of screenshots, manipulating the truth, twisting logic or just outright lying, so be it. As long as you win.
What fever has done off the site is reprehensible and uncalled for but we aren't here to police anything outside of HN. What you do on here, though, is just as bad. To some extent it borderlines on worse or sad because in truth, you are smart, likable guy with lots of charisma and personality. You do indeed create interest and conversation. People are drawn to you and you have a lot to offer. Sadly, none of that outweighs the negative associated with your ego, narcissism and vindictiveness.
As far as your constant remarks targeting the former owner and the giant diatribe you wrote, none of it has been worthy of a response. I know that you and I both know the truth so I'm ok with it all. If I wanted you off this site, you would be. I respect Chris, though, and I will allow him to decide how to best manage you.

Well, banker was banned solely for the reason of calling out the former owner's ethics and that ban was permanently enforced when banker tried to handle it off the board. Actually, it was the former owner that asked if banker wanted "to take it outside" and when banker said yes, the former owner all of a sudden had no interest in doing that. I was sitting there when it happened and heard everything. This shows that a previous post in this thread is not exactly honest.
Also interesting that a former owner still wants to exhibit full control - if I want you gone, you would be gone - that's a slap to the new owners I would think.

Now, should the new owner be punished for the actions of the past owner? That doesn't seem fair. But it raises the question of why he would allow the previous owner to stay on board as a moderator, not to mention, allowing another moderator to take part in similar activities a few weeks ago with nothing done other than deleting that moderator's posts in which he was using personal information and threats.
