From looking at their message board over on boneyard.com, they are less than thrilled about the opponent and date & time.I just wonder how UConn feels about playing Marshall?
andy4 "teams we can beat every week?" Uh how about Ohio, MTSU, and WKU? We do not beat them every week. I agree with Marine. A bowl is a bowl and look how many there are now.
Agree about the OLine and WRs. Litton would be 200% better if those two improve. Our offense is so bad at this point, this will be a tight game. Litton needs to grow up and the OL needs to man up. Our WR's are pitiful at this point. Put Foster back at slot.

my post is not about opponents............. i have said that previously............... it is about THE MINDSET of some here that we should play an opponent we can beat........................
we screwed ourselves out of having a decent bowl game by losing 3 games with the 137th ranked schedule in the country. i have absolutely NO COMPLAINTS about whomever we play in a bowl game. we don't deserve much more than a 6-6 UConn with our resume. but to sit here and hope/wish/prefer to play them than Temple, Memphis, Navy, Toledo, Bowling Green, et all because WE MIGHT LOSE is mind boggling.................
LOL, only a UCONN AAC team with almost no Div 1 history that is 6-6 would be less than thrilled with playing Marshall. Hilarious.
I say Chase and company bears down till game time, improves for the last game and next season and we beat their butts, and remain one of CF best bowl winnings teams!
LMAO, really 6-6 and you are unhappy with playing Marshall? Lol!!!!
UCONN has a very strong defense.
Love some of their fans attitude; comments following:
"Even worse, playing Marshall. Is there a lower-rent program to play?"
"Eh, I have no worries with it. I'd rather play a kind of crappy team in Marshall and have a good shot at a win"
Hey sunshine pumpers, no spin is possible, a bowl vs. UCONN has NO UPSIDE FOR OUR PROGRAM. We gain nothing from it. It would be the least meaningful bowl game we have ever had, and weakest bowl opponent.
