Well it is one of the busiest days of the year for Chinese restaurants
Unbeknownst to you, you just saved Christmas for me. Heading to a local Chinese place for dinner and possibly a back room massage. We were hating the thought of microwaving yesterday's leftovers for Christmas dinner in this hotel room. 3 more days of living like rifle is about all I can handle. Plus, I don't even have enough room to lay out my Gucci overalls and flannel shirt to post pictures for all y'all.
Regardless of what Herdman tells you, staying at the Courtyard is not the same as the Ritz Carlton/St. Regis/J.W. Marriott/Four Seasons.
At least you were not staying at the Bird-in-Hand Family Inn.
No, but I was across the street at the farmers market on the Saturday before it exploded, and next door to if at the bakery as well.

I agree. I never like staying at the same place/same city for more than three or four nights. I get restless.
The hotels or cities don’t suddenly suck. They don’t suddenly have problems that are only exposed after a few days. It just gets old staying at the same place.
I don't travel as much. but, I only stay at hotels for business or a quick trip. For longer trips or vacation, going to to VRBO or Airbnb or rent a condo or house. The extra space is well worth it.
Motel 6 or nothing for me
The best part about staying at a VRBO is when those surprise Pornhub royalties start showing up.
