That and the band cartSam - I am sure you remember when Schnides hauled out the non-kelly green sparkle helmets vs UH in 2008(?). Only reason we throttled them! ;D)

Teams getting motivated by alternate uniforms is, like teams getting motivated over dead pets, sick kids, or heroic locker room banter, something that happens in the movies. In real life you practice harder, plan better, and out work the other team.
I’m 50 so I guess I’m an old fart and I love our uniforms. The only thing I didn’t like was the big black stripe on the green pants and it looked like they did away with that stripe which is great. I really like our black jerseys I think they look cool.
Zilla in regards to the above schools Michigan state does have alternate uniforms. In addition Ohio State and Notre Dame, 2 of the most tradition filled football schools of all time have alternate uniform combos. It doesn’t seem to bother their fans or take away from their tradition.
Lastly Bama, Penn State, Michigan LSU and I’ll throw in the real USC (in California) and Texas are schools that aren’t even on the planet with us and I’m not just talking about money and conference affiliation. These are all time teams with years and years and years of tradition. They can do whatever they want and it won’t matter. It’s completely unfair to compare those schools staying with their traditional uniforms and Marshall not doing it.
