Making my list

I was listening to the head of the dock workers threaten that the flow of goods would dry up if his members didn’t get what they want. It might get bad so I am making a list of things I better buy before everything becomes unavailable.

I want a new pair of shoes. The kind you can just slip in. Maybe a pair of slacks, too. Better buy some cleaning supplies because I’m fairly neat. A case of protein drink is a necessity. I can download books whenever I want so that won’t be a problem.

I already have a new car and with the weather turning cold, I don’t imagine I’ll need any building products until spring. I mainly snack. Nuts, fruit, raw veggies, cheeses are my staples so I imagine I’ll be able to find those.

I don’t drink or smoke so no stock of alcohol or tobacco needed. Pretty sure Hint water isn’t made in China so I’m good there. I believe I’ll make it.

I try not to rely on imported products. Bananas are probably the imported thing we buy most. I realize the American made stuff will become more scarce, but that’s expected under a communist regime like we have in power right now.

Mainly a tea drinker and I have boxes of that. In fact, I found a wooden box with tea in it that had been given to me 25 years ago. Looked and smelled OK so I brewed a cup. Tasted normal.

Yeah, that would be nice but I’m on a medication that says to avoid alcohol. Bummer.
