Marshall awarding degrees posthumous

First time I have heard of it and I get all the BG and Alumni Assn. emails.

It was in the HN monthly newsletter months ago. Are you on that email list? If not, post a message on the Pullman board for Herdman, as he is the one who does the emailed newsletter.

I am not. Thanks for the heads up.

While it wasn’t in herdmans newsletter it was posted by the university in one of their communications about the 50th anniversary ceremony.

Sorry I missed the memo. Can you provide the university release. I’d like to pass it along for a family member.

October 13th. Don't recall seeing this released to the mainstream media until a few days ago. Thanks very much. I'll forward it along.

I think it's great that Marshall is awarding posthumous degrees to the football players. But, what about the other students that were on the airplane?

Two I can think of are Donald Tackett, Assistant Athletic Trainer, and Gary George, Student Assistant Statistician.

There may be others - but, these two deserve to be recognized also.

Is Marshall not awarding them to non-student athletes?
