This past weekend our Baseball squad swept Georgia State. The Herd is now ensured that they will qualify to play in the Sun Belt conference Baseball Tournament. Marshall is currently in 6th in the Sun Belt Standings with an opportunity this coming week to move up. Marshall will play Georgia Southern Thursday-Saturday AT HOME with games times of 6, 6, and 2. Georgia Southern is currently tied with Marshall in conference wins. This is a big series and could allow Marshall to slide up in the Conference standings. Tickets have been reduced for this series and are being offered at $3/ticket. Bring your family. Bring your friends. Come out all three days and support these athletes at Jack Cook Field. Coach Beals has put an improved squad on the field each year and this team deserves the support of Marshall fans.

I think if the weather is nice we will have great crowds on Saturday and Sunday.
$3 a ticket!!!!! Damn. Doesn’t the school know this is an economically depressed part of the country?
Series is Thursday -Saturday. Game time are 6:00, 6:00 and 2:00.
