I wrote to ASN asking why last weeks game and today's game were not telecast as announced months ago.

Here is the answer I received.

Unfortunately when a game is listed but is not available, it is because a
stream capture was not available due to non-request of capturing of the
stream for that event. We have forwarded your concerns to the
appropriate personnel for further review into this issue so games not
available for capture are not posted to the site.

Yup same exact techno answer I got sent back. Im like what in the F€ck is banokwskii doing in the Dallas CUSA office ? If we have negotiated the rights to our games and one of the ways we are supposed to be able to access the games is via streaming, AND you have it on your ASN website you WILL be streaming the game, then DO IT!!!!

Pathetic, simply pathetic.

Why in the hell did we sign our rights away with some micky mouse operation?

I never knew the games were not going to be streamed online. I watched it in Directv as I did last week. It was also in locally here on a Sinclair station. We have had more basketball games on TV than we ever did when with ESPN. I am thankful for ASN. They picked up football games that would have otherwise not even been on TV.

That great LHF if you have a local affiliate, many of us don't. My point is if you say your going to stream it, then stream it!

I watched on Directv. I made the switch two years ago and don't regret it.

As for streaming, when did they say they were streaming? I only found that it was on TV. Never saw any advertising for streaming. I follow ASN on Twitter and they always mention on Twitter when a game is going to be streamed. I never saw that but could have missed it. I have seen games listed on their website as being on TV but not as being streamed. I know I confused that once in football season for a game Marshall wasn't involved in.

We are fortunate that we have someone that is picking up non Fox and non CBS Sports network games especially when it was known we were down this year. I believe next Sat game at La Tech is on ASN TV again. I haven't looked at Herdzone schedule in a few days.

I would suggest tweeting ASN or emailing asking to have the game streamed. If enough leople will do that they may stream it.

I have seen that before. When the game the Football games were listed to be streamed...it was actually noted as being streamed. I have never looked at this as meaning streamed but games that ASN was producing. I would follow them on Twitter to see when they are streaming events.

For the record 06 I live in Atlanta. It is interesting to me there has been an OTA re-revolution of sorts in large urban areas.

With my 30.00 wine guard HD antenna here I can pull in over 40 stations, about 30 of which are worth keeping. The station WATL has 3 actual stations on channel 36.1- 3. They broadcast ASN games, and seem to have the rights. Yet NEVER Marshall, even when i emailed the, you have a top25 team to broadcast, they kept jeopardy reruns on. WTF? OTA here now has a national weather station and even a local OTA scrolling TV guide like cable.

Seems to me Bamowkski needs to drive home, if were giving you rights then get your content on every major market. As one considers the potential of ASN to become an OTA ESPN it needs to be managed better.

Getting us on MASN for every football game would be nice, still stream if you say your going to stream and likewise get your OTA content AIRED!
