Ahead by one point at half against Clemson
The team was terrible earlier in the season but have really picked it up the past couple of weeks. They are playing as well as any Herd womens team in recent years. We should play more games with only one half.
Guys... You sound like geezers when referring to it as "girls" basketball. It is womens and mens basketball at the college level. Boys and girls in HS
The women's team lost to Clemson by 14, dropping their record to 5-6. The women have not had a winning season since 15-16 and were 9-20, with 2 of the wins being over non- Div I teams last year.

The Chorus: "Who's Don Imus?"
Imus is a well known radio host who, several years ago, made a vile comment about black female basketball players at Rutgers. I wouldn't even repeat his comment in a quote so Google him if you wish.
How about the Barely Legal Forum? We should have more posts about Marshall girls . . . not necessarily basketball or sports related.
Hold my beer."Girls" may not be PC, but at least no one in this thread pulled a Don Imus.
Yes, I do follow women's basketball. I also follow baseball, football, volleyball, mens basketball and softball too. I happen to enjoy those sports and the jersey says MARSHALL on themSays the old creeper guy that follows girls basketball
Women’s basketball at Marshall will never win. The only reason we field a team is Title 9 I guess. Despite poplular belief, CUSA DOES NOT require women’s b’ball for membership.
Well that is technically true, but under the idiotic Title IX you have to play something. If not basketball, then what? At least with basketball you can use existing facilities already in place for the men's team, it is played in WV HS, and the average person can at least understand it. Field hockey? Water polo? Fencing?
