Caveat- I didn’t read the whole article..

I know this is not a Marshall only thing, but I find it odd that schools do their own hearings in sexual assault cases.

Seems like the default should be - we will let the court system (you know, the ones equipped to deal with criminal things) make a judgement and following this the student will be dealt with according to the final criminal process. What if you kick someone out of school but then they’re found not guilty? I guess the speed of the criminal court makes this not ideal so you have your own school court?

Could someone more knowledgeable weigh in?

YMCA stands for “Young Men’s Christian Association.” They don’t allow gays or rapists.
