Media Steps On a Rake Again

The journo-oopsy passing off a story not only using images and an article from 2014, but then trying to cover that mistake by using images from 2016 of a bus full of car seats, all in an attempt to act as if Trump created the problem and this is somehow a unique sin of ICE in the Trump-era, rather than just an ICE policy going back to the Clinton-days of NIS, and likely before.

The issue as it has been with the Press in the Trump era is walking around stepping on rakes trying to make Trump look bad, when if they just reported what he actually did, it would be more than enough, and had they reported this with the same fervor in 2014 or earlier then we could have taken care of the problem then.

I saw that on Jon Favreau’s twitter feed the other day (?maybe earlier today?). Guess he wasn’t as concerned about it back in 2014 when he was writing Obama’s speeches.

Like Chris Mathews said on election night - no one wanted to deal with unfettered immigration even though many view it as a problem..Dems want the new voters, Rs want the cheap labor...so you get Trump because he at least had a plan to deal with it like it or not.

I saw it as noted above be on Favreau and Shaun King twitter accounts then it started making some rounds from there. I may have seen it on Jim Cornettes twitter too. I love that man and he hates Trump with a passion (though he hates Hillary too).

Clay Travis called out Talcum X/Martin Luther Cream on it.
