Mike D'Antoni has it going in Houston

I have always thought that Mike is a great basketball coach. What he did with the Suns was amazing. Many credit him with changing the way the game is now played with his space and pace, pick and roll hurry up 3 ball style of play. He got a raw deal in NY when the front office traded away the team he was building for Melo who was a disaster. In LA he took over a train wreck with expectations that nobody could meet( ego of Kobe).
Now at Houston they are red hot sitting at 16-7 and are going to be a force as the year goes on. Glad we have Dan the other half of this great basketball family here at Marshall as out coach now. It looks to me like we are still a year away from the big dance or NIT but we have some size on the way and that will push us over IMO next year.#Dantonibrosgreatcoaches

Kobe and the Lakers was a train wreck late in his career. Mike also had to deal with the ego of Dwight Howard.

In NY...when is the last time NY was relevant before and after Mike? NY was actually starting to build something with Mike, then they traded their team & future for the ultimate ball stopper in Carmelo Anthony and then let Jeremy Lin go because Carmelo couldn't stand sharing the spotlight with "Linsanity"

Right now it looks like he is a lock for nba coach of the year. what he has done in Houston is amazing. they have gone from middle of the pack to a top 5 nba team... my ranking right now.. 1.gs 2. Cleveland 3 spurs 4 houston
