I'm not sure allowing all adult stakeholders in a municipal election to have a say is a bad thing. Non-citizens owning businesses, paying local taxes, etc. I could see an argument there, largely because I've long believed local non-resident taxpayers and property owners should have a local vote.

I would say no way for national offices, of course.
