I'll throw down $2-4 a week on lotto. Why not? Most I have won on ANYTHING lottery was like $50 on a scratch off around 1994-ish.
Some people are just lucky. My mom is like that; I take her to the casino about once a month, I swear to God she always at least doubles her money on stupid slots of all things. Me, I'm happy to stick a 20 in the nickle video poker and nurse it while I people watch, usually cash out even or a bit ahead. I know I am too unlucky to mess with stupid slots.
