When I took a world history class at Marshall, I believe the text was titled “ A History Of Civilization.” There has never been anything “civilized” about the human race.
That guys needs to be reeled in. If we had a president with balls and one that wasn't knee deep in Ukraine corruption like Mush Biden is we would tell that little pip squeek to shut up and if not his funding will dry up and we will hand him over to Putin personally with a bow tie on.

My steps to resolve the issue.
1. Raise the Nuclear alert level.
2. Evoke a no fly zone around Ukraine.
3. Any new Russian troops crossing the border get eliminated.

The very second you introduce a “tactical” nuke on a battlefield, the escalation process pretty much guarantees global messiness. Biden warned last week about catastrophic consequences if they go that route. Over Ukraine.
For some reason I can't explain, you've been wanting us to ramp up our involvement since day 1.
First of all, we Ukraine is not a member of NATO. Second of all, Ukraine is corrupt and milking us likely. Third, Biden and others are corrupt and were involved in Ukraine and now this war suddenly.
A no fly zone involves US troops. No, not worth it. We have been over that before.
A nuclear war over Ukraine is insane. Hell, they were part of the Soviet Union for decades and we didn't go to war over it. Remember, Russia can nuke us back, here!!!! You willing to die over Ukraine?
Just a strong advocate of peach through force. If Putin has decided to start WW3, nothing is going to stop him (except his own people). If he has decided to use Nuclear weapons, he will do it.
By setting back and doing nothing, to me anyways it increases the danger over the long run. He may keep pushing until he crosses the wrong line and things spiral out of control. If we can stop him now from other ambitions besides Ukraine, we should do it, even if it does mean a few sleepless nights.
If you think this mobilization will only be 300k and they will only go to Ukraine, I disagree, I have a feeling he will mobilize many more and will be willing to test NATO through the Baltics.
Mush has said on 3 different occasions (I can count), "We will defend every inch of NATO territory". Mush is a puppet. He is saying this for a reason, I believe that intelligence believes it's going beyond Ukraine. Just a matter of time. I have said before, we may be in WW3, and NATO does not want to believe or acknowledge it. Time to deter it, if anything it might wake a few Russians up to what their leader is doing.

Lavrov is basically telling Putin's plan. He does not plan on stopping in Ukraine. He said here we come get them out. IMO now is the time to deter. Nukes have been there for decades and never posed a "real" threat to Russia. Why are they so concerned now? Because they are coming.

I agree with Herdman when it comes to our level of involvement not escalating. No we aren’t starting WW3 over Ukraine. Yes we would over an existing NATO country. No Ukraine is not in a state where we would want to bring it into NATO (and wasn’t before the invasion.)
I disagree about us pouring money in being a bad strategy. But boots on the ground in Ukraine or a “no fly zone” would be insane. A NFZ means us shooting down Russian planes. That’s war.

Ukraine wants us to strike at Russia because they know their survival is in the balance. Thing is, they’re the stooge, and you don’t let the stooge in on the grift.
They've been asking for systems that could strike well into Russian territory & thank God the administration is denying the requests.
I find it difficult to believe Putin would use a tactical but who knows anymore. The second he unleashes one, that computer from War Games wins. And not even David Lightman's gonna be able to stop it.
I’m not saying you’re misusing the term but it is a good time to remember the two types of nukes.
Tactical nukes are comparable to conventional weapons, except that they are radioactive and pound for pound more powerful. But they’re not city killers. They’re made to be used in battle, against enemy positions.
Strategic nukes are the really bad ones. They’re made to make the biggest boom possible and destroy cities on your enemies interior.
I’m not sure how we would respond if Russia used tactical nukes. There’s still one level of escalation above that.
We would have to really be careful. I could see us responding and the N Korea starting to attack S Korea. We attack back in N Korea and the Chinese use it as an excuse to get involved.
Hence, WW3.
Nobody , like Putin inluded, wants the world and their nation destroyed. We are not positioned for a ground war in Europe. We don't have enought stuff there and it would take time to get it there.
If Russia did that it would really force our hand. Do we attack back? Escalate things?

This is a good point. It makes me actually consider this whole thing is a ruse to collapse the world markets, banking systems, and usher in a new era of dictatorships and government controls all over the world.

This is rich. First, the aggressor is likely the king of corruption*. Second, every nation has corruption; the USA is high up the list of corruption. Third, you support the most most corrupt man to ever occupy the White House, so it is obvious you give zero fvcks about corruption.
* This is incredibly important in this discussion, as much of the issues with Ukraine are the result of its history as part of the USSR.

Why would Ukraine negotiate for peace? They want the invader vanquished, period. And I don't blame them. You allow Russia to keep some gains, they will be back later (a third time) for more.
How would you want us to? Would you want us to start WW3 over tactical nuke usage? There’s no right or wrong answer; it’s unprecedented territory.

I think BIden's admin sit there and watch the invasion be planned, staged, and unfold for nearly a year.
