NBA Draft - Elmore

Good for him... Putting on an NBA jersey (I don't care if it summer league or not) is a heck of an accomplishment. Maybe he lights it up and makes a G-league roster. Maybe he ends up in Europe. Either way, he will be playing professional ball somewhere.
He would MUCH rather Europe than G League. If he can get in the main overseas league "Euro League" like Ajdin he can make 6 digits and have a much better shot at the NBA later.
The G League pays $35,000 per year. $7k per month for 5 months

He COULD make 6 six figures but the average is between $60,000 and $100000. Still better than the g league but it’s not like he will be rolling in cash.

Read a story which said 53% of the players who made opening day NBA rosters last year spent time in the G League. While the Euro League is certainly outstanding the G League has turned into an excellent alternative for guys to make it to the NBA.

As predicted, Elmore has signed in Europe. Specifically with Alma Pallacanestro Trieste in Trieste, Italy.

H-D says "terms not disclosed", but internet says average Italian basketball player gets about $65K after taxes, with team picking up housing and providing a car.

That's a little better than my first job upon graduating from Marshall.

That statement proves you don’t know **** about the NBA or how it functions.

I know dang well how the NBA works today and in 1974-75..
....Dan became the head coach of the HERD freshman basketball team [1970], coaching younger brother Mike, before becoming an assistant coach of The HERD varsity.

After failing to make the Baltimore Bullets (NBA) as one of their final rosters cuts, he became the head coach at Socastee HS in Myrtle Beach, in 1975, accumulating 500 wins 1975--2005.

So, yes....Dan became a gnat's ass from making the Bullets squad.

It was actually the 69-70 school year when Mike was a freshman.
