This doesn’t help our case a ton at the end of the season other than the fact our victory was when they were relatively healthy. I don’t look for them to win 3 games this year if their backup plays like that consistently.

I think reports of ND's demise are greatly exaggerated. They were nip/tuck with Ohio State for over 3 quarters. They are very stingy and athletic on defense and have a large OL and perhaps the best TE in a generation. If they can get their OL play together (which they have the talent to do) then a lot will change. They don't have any real deep threats so they play the short game, but it was just far too basic and predictable against Marshall. We just sat on those hitch routes all day long. I think they house Cal this weekend and right the ship. They have players in that QB room. The QBs in general were getting too much blame.

As I walked out of the stadium I saw diehard ND fans with tears in their eyes, sitting in disbelief. Of course, I am not going to lie, I had tears in my eyes for obviously different reasons.

My heart hurt the entire game. I wiped many tears all game long. The Phoenix has arisen once again!
