Yeah definitely a wait and see kind of hire.

While I agree with the sentiment... This is the kind of hire we are in position to make.

He's a guy that has worked his way up the ranks, had a good year with GT's linebackers last year, and is ready for a more permanent gig than the traditional 1-2 year position coach carousel from campus to campus.

I do like that he has been a defensive coordinator before at a couple of quality FCS programs and has coached a variety of positions (LB's, S's, Special Teams, etc)
